Claritin worked pretty well in the 'script form. When it went OTC, not so much - but the Clarinex version (the new 'script version from the same people) worked even better, until the insurance companies of Texas decided that such things were 'name brand preferred prescriptions' and started requiring a 75$ co-pay. At least BCBSTX did at the State.
