I know this is far fetched - but I know Nevell can find it, I wonder if I can ask Novell Server how..

I need to find out what users have my exe open. Or alternatively, has anyone found a robust way of keeping track of every person who is using a multi-user app?

I have ideas, writing names and datetime() to a table, etc, but all ideas I have found have serious drawbacks, particularly in the case of an ABEND of a program (sys crash or whatever) which leaves the record undeleted.

anyone done something like this?
