there is a FTP fox prg in the downloads - in 2 versions. Version is overblown IMO -
used version 1 a few times. If you can foresee the need for FTPS or SFTP look for some tools (and you might check WestWind early on - if Rick supports it, it is vfp source code usually well debugged and a joy to read. Always better insurance IMO if you can follow the code in case of trouble. Back then Rick did not offer that angle, so we went with SecureBlackbox from Eldos, back then because they offered interface-compatible versions for activeX and DotNet.
