Sorry to hear that, Rick, but it sounds like you made the right choice. The number of hours in a week is finite and sometimes choices have to be made. At least you gave it a shot, which is more than most people do.

>It is with a heavy heart I announce that I must suspend Visual FreePro development.
>
>It has now been 9+ months since I began and I have yet to find anybody willing or able to come on board and help me with the C/C++ development. I have found several people interested in working with the xbase debugging once the app gets that far along.
>
>I have a job with a lengthy commute each day, and I am working too many hours per week to spend the necessary 20-30 hours required to continue properly with Visual FreePro.
>
>I am going to continue developing part of the source code base. I will further develop the virtual machine interface and operating system specific portions for a new, smaller project I will begin -- called White Box. It is my hope that when the White Box application is completed it will begin to bring in revenue sufficient for me to continue development of Visual FreePro, and then later the operating systems Exodus, Armodus, Exodus-64 and Armodus-64. We shall see though.
>
>Currently, Visual FreePro is about 40% completed. If I could work on it 40 hrs per week at even normal efficiencies, it could be completed (and almost completely functional) in four months. In twelve months, it would be singing and dancing.
