I think you're missing the point here. We alredy have gun registration and permits for concealed carry. There are tons of laws about guns on the books. It's the same with guns as autos. Not everyone cares about getting a license to drive, or carrying insurance because its so expensive, or driving sober, etc. There are laws already on the books to control that, same with guns.
