Comments aren't code. Break points are stored in the source file, nor the compiled code. In the case of VFP, they are stored in the FoxUser file. For Visual Studio, they are stored in each project's .suo file.
>Comments aren't required "to run the app" either. Do you remove them too? I'm guessing no, so, what's the issue about leaving three small words in the code. It may look "sloppy" but the point is, it doesn't matter at run time. Do you remove the break points too? No, cause it doesn't matter.
