LOL!!! Because this doesn't affect me in the slightest I'm going to look for the bright side: which is that MS is starting to listen to customers rather than the incentivized sycophants that cluster around it. At last. Meanwhile my current machine has Win7 and is totally overspec'ed so it can be the last grandpa box I'll ever need, switching to Project Glass or whatever as soon as it's mainstream. So I'm a spectator in the Microsoft Hokey Cokey from now on.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
