You are right, I only visited (visits of roughly a week in each city) New York, Seattle, Orlando and Miami, then I went to Milwaukee for a conference, you were one of the speakers if I remember correctly, but it was only a week-end and I did not do any tourism other than dinner :), so it does not count (and I have no complains in that trip!), anyways, I was saying that you are right, I cannot generalize, but I do not know if it was for the change from Buenos Aires to Vancouver, where we found everyone so nice and polite compared to Baires and then going to the US we were never comfortable. (one example is beggars, when we came here the contrast with Baires was huge, in there beggars are very insistent (not sure if it is the right word) and in here they are in the vast majority very polite, and when we went to Seattle, to be honest, I was worried that there would be some fights for the very aggressive way they panhandled (but again, it might not have been different than Baires, but my perception after living here might have changed)
