Hi Paul and John,
I also face this problem. I have all vfp*.* files in the windows\system. My machine is windows 98. After uninstallation of VFP5, I reinstall it and program runs normally. Then I put the SP3 which causes the problem again in spite of complete necessary files. Another machine of mine is windows95 and is fine with VFP5 + SP3.
