Since you have a DOS app, you are probably used to doing lots of calcs on the fly and printing a figure on paper. With VFP's report writer, you don't have nearly the control over the printing process. The ability to do the analysis of the data and write to memory or disk was much more of a problem. I think the suggestion that you do all of you calculations based upon the customer type, write them to a cursor and just use the Report Writer to put the info on paper may solve your problem.
