>I'm curious what went wrong and how you fixed it. Care to share?
The recreation of an .ndf didn't work. So, a DBCC was needed. But, it earlier on conflicted with Symantec Anti Virus. This one was blocking the regular operation of the DBCC command. It is when we plugged in ProcMon that we were able to detect that. ProcMon was recommended by Christof. We saw no activity on the process. I decided to disable Symantec Anti Virus. Then, it started to work ok. I enabled it back after. So, if you ever run into that situation, it seems DBCC is affected by software like that. If it wouldn't have been for that, the situation would have been resolved in about 35 minutes. But, it took longer as we had to investigate.
