>>That is good advice Mike, or at least I like it, for I do not know what is good for Mike, or for anyone suffering depression or addiction. From the list of series in Netflix, I would add long running ones, some that I liked are "Monk", "How I met your mother", "Dexter"

>>What seems to be working for me, but it might be taking as just another addiction, is playing computer games, in particular strategy games, like "Civilization" (currently V) or Medieval Total War (various versions) .

>I find video games addicting themselves and try to steer away from them when I'm in a bad spot. I play a lot of them though. Civ 5 is great, although I find myself always falling back to a military victory. I guess that says something about me. :-)

Big Civ fan but for some reason I keep going back to Civ II, just for the speed of the gameplay. Have tried them all but I got serious addicted to Civ II.

Charles Hankey

- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin
