Did your customer "find" a crack or did he actually download the crack, run it, and crack your system proving it to you?

In any case, I dont know which is the best commercial dongle but you can build / program your own USB dongle system. The point I am making is that sometimes a dongle is a better option for end-users who dont want to rely on you to give them a serial number and you dont want to hand out multiple serial numbers. In those cases a dongle works because the user can copy the software and database to any number of machines but only run it from the machine that has the dongle. It is an optional tool.
