EF 6 adds some SP support, but I'm not sure about deployment of SPs.

>One of the things I really liked about Strataframe / Microfour when I still considered it a framework they were going to continue to develop was that they had a gizmo called the Data Deployment Toolkit ( which, unfortunately, they stopped selling as a separate product.) Basically a sql metadata database describing all facets of a sql database, including sps etc. It would create packages which it would then use to keep a database in sync using SMO. Works really well. You could build the running of the pkg right into an app deployment so whatever version of the database a client currently had it would put it right before your new version of the app deployed. I love it, even though I have since used more scripting and Redgate tools.

>Yes, EF migrations seem to address exactly this issue but I think there may be still some gotchas regarding SPs etc though i might just not understand that part yet.
