Usually, after restarting, I do it a second time. Then, I close it again so to make sure everything was properly cleaned. Other than that, if it is cookie related, you might have to clear that as well. But, before, a reboot might help. In the last resort, I would try with IE from another PC, it it works, I would then reinstall it on the PC which is troubling.


Closing all instances of the browser after clearing temp files worked.

I'm surprised - I haven't had the need to close all browser instances before to clear temp files. Usually just opening a new instance after clearing temp files will work.

Anyway - fixed.
