>***personally*** I think at first only 2 categories should be there:
>Javascript - the language
>Javascript - toolkits.
Unfortunately, this is not the way forums are lay out here. There is a need for a certain number of categories, also including some generic ones, so to preserve the same way of doing things across forums.
>If enough threads around a certain topic are found, specific Javascript ToOlkit: JQeury can follow - while Craig identifies clearly defined areas, do I put a question about Backbone into "other" or for similar topic into Knockout ? That is seeing from "backend guy" POV - but perhaps a finely grained topic structure will lure more "web guys" here. Perhaps next division into JS UI, JS rooting/middleware, JS server, JS DB-connectivity is a compromize.
Please, note that this forum was already created. Mike assumed it was not but it was there. With the help of Craig, I fine tuned it. More fine tuning occurs whenever members suggest enhancements or when I see it fit.
The four categories you mention seems to be good to be added. Were they listed as a suggestion for addition?
