Simply click on the toolbar refresh green image. The time it takes the refresh the other content is really not a factor and would help to keep everything up to date. IAC, this is all done automatically on specific interval. By tonight, the interval will be 60 seconds. So, at every 60 seconds, updates on the counters to represent new messages, new replies and such, as well as the content of the Dashboard and the right panel will be refreshed.
