I remember seeing that globe a few years ago. I'm pretty sure I've never seen it while using FireFox for this site, which has been a few years now. I'm trying to remember if there was ever a UT setup option "Turn off background images" or the like, but I don't think so.

Are you going through any kind of proxy server that might not be getting updated, and still pushing old images back to you? I think there are also "web accelerator"/caching programs that can cause this sort of issue.

Do you have any 3rd-party toolbars or addons in your browser? If so, can you test with them disabled? Just for grins, you could also try with antivirus disabled.

Failing that - if you think the image is cached locally - maybe you can get its name from the page source, and do a search & destroy on your local hard drive.
