So did I, but on some larger threads I started to notice the View Messages option was including messages that I knew for a fact weren't descendents of the selected message. I reported it to Michel in this forum a couple of times, with repros but nothing ever happened. The View Map option always worked 100% properly for me.

Update: to Michel: I mainly used those features to battle thread drift. They were great for weeding out extraneous messages. That's how I first noticed the problem of wrong messages getting included; they were clearly from other branches that had drifted OT.

In short: those were good features for battling thread drift.
