First, it is an opinion piece, so it should be read as such. Second, my intention in posting it was to inform folks of the participation in the exercise - a first in history. Whether anyone thinks China is the aggressor or the U.S. is, the participation in the exercise is big news. Also, I found the opinion piece humorous due to it's tone and the fact that an opinion piece written in such light is in the LA Times and not the WSJ...
I see my post is stirring up trouble....oh well....discussion is healthy they say! :
