Yes, this is valid for single Web page only. But, when you have an entire application, such as UT, or some others that I built, actually, some users thought they were in Windows as it looked pretty much as is, you cannot rely on the those things to be let as is and you need to control everything. Otherwise, you can't just achieve to have everything properly aligned.
