I have this application that is still not converted to HTML 5.

So, I have a basic style such as:

select
{
   font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
   font-size: 9pt;
   border: 1px solid #CCCCCC;
}

If this border style is not there, the select control is displayed with a one pixel black border in IE. But, if the border style is there, IE displays the select control with a 3D effect from the top and the left sides which is really annoying. I haven't been able to get rid of that. That one should be simple. Anyone knows an answer to this one?
