Yes, I understand. And, when it applies, I grab a few things here and there to improve the way I do those implementations. I just try to avoid adding external librairies and such because this is a major problem when you have to rebuild the framework later on. The more external components you add in the architecture, the more difficult it is to migrate. The same thing goes with the database. I try to remain as much as ANSI SQL as possible. As, when moving to another database, this would diminish the number of additional exception cases we would have to deal with.
