>I'm not sure if that response was for me or the other gentleman, but I've built full runtime installs, and on some NT40 machines the app/ActiveX runs w/o a problem, on others it's DOA. Without installing a lot of stuff I don't which pieces of software install the other dlls.
FWIW, this is something that's kinda nice with VFP 6.0 and the new
common controls. It's all in one file, so there are no version
conflicts what the OCX and the DLL support. If you use the new
common controls (MSCOMCTL.OCX) no support files are required.
I just went through building a runtime install for installation
with InstallShield. With VFP 6 using CAB files it's kinda easy
now - you can use WinZip to open the CAB file and dump all
the files for an install directory and let InstallShield find
those files.
