Looked at Knockout v. angular some time back. Couldn't really decide between them - I think the deciding factor in the end was simply that there was someone on that team who was familiar with angular (admittedly, not the best reason but there wasn't much to choose between them).

Seems to me that although Knockout promotes itself as MVVM and angular as MVC they both provide pretty much the same functionality.
