I've only been to one conference & it was a DevCon one quite a while ago in San Diego. We considered staying at a different hotel than the one the conference was in but decided to go ahead and stay at the same one. I talked to a few others there that had opted to stay somewhere else & I was for glad that we were staying at the same hotel as the conference. Just the time getting there and parking, then driving back and parking eats up more time and effort that you'd think.
