In Settings, in the checkbox list, there is an item "Enable "View all messages from this thread" from the current message". You can check it to enable that support. Note that this is as before, thus it is all new messages created in the thread after that message and not all messages only in the specific branch. This is not a bug and was never intended to be like that. So, when clicking on it, it will give all messages which have been created from the time of the message you are viewing, no matter in which branches they are, thus everything new in that thread since that marker.
