Very seldom... but I remember being very angry (at myself? keyboard layout?) when my Tab suddenly turns the Caps light on...

>Define "many." :) In my case, certainly less than 100. A good data entry operator does one thing well: translates (usually) printed data into keystrokes. At a certain level of competence, this is completely automatic. I could spend hours without consciously even thinking about what I was doing.

I remember a guy on the VAX who came to work three hours later than the others, because the machine load was lower then... and then he crammed 500 invoices in three hours and still went home before regular time. Though, anybody else trying to use the machine at that time got frequently swapped out, because this guy was overwhelming the OS with pending QIOs. You couldn't possibly follow his fingers - the space above the keypad was just fuzzy.

Too bad he tried to be a programmer later - he named his products as "Nightmare soft", and he was right :)
