That is true, the common perception of Christianity is like "Visual FoxPro is a DBase scripting language".
And yes, some people do use Visual FoxPro for nothing more than writing some DBase commands on local tables, and perhaps write some basic user interfaces on top of that. But that's a shame, because there is so much more to it.
