I have a client that occasionally will be updating a transaction to several tables and will get a "cannot update cursor" message.
I will close all tables, use the table in question again and update. All is fine.

I can manually open the table, append a record, try to update a field and get the error. Try the same process again and all is fine.

60-70 percent of the time it is the same file, but not always.

They can run for days with no problem and then it will occur 2 to 3 times in one day.

This app has been running fine for 7 years and this problem only started when they update to windows 7.

They are at the point of trying to reload Windows 7 or even get a new machine.

Any ideas?
