Sadly that seems to be a common thought. You listen to the senators argue against gay marriage & they're convinced that allowing gays to integrate into society without being discriminated against is somehow going to lead to the acceptance of pedophilia or lead to people wanting to marry chickens or pigs or something. What's really sad (and funny at the same time) is that I actually think the senators truly believe these things when they're saying them.
