Also, read the chapter on the debugger in the docs. Yes it is gone....and on a somewhat related note, the VFP 5.0 debugger was based on the debugger in Developer Studio. Well, the next version of the Developer Studio, codenamed 'Boston" is in beta now and it includes VFP 5.0.

First you are completely right about the debugger - it is big step forward!
regarding the Developer Studio - what I heard is that the VFP
version that will get the DS IDE will be called VFP5.5 and indeed it is not very far
