>>>Must be as HiFi speakers made bij Bose are rubbish...

>>Bose must have fallen off. Many years ago I had a Corvette with a Bose sound system specifically designed for the car's interior. It was sensational.

>I am preparing for a move to a better climate (weather and political) so I am looking at "stuff" I do not really need. I have a pair of Rectilinear III speakers I bought in 1967. At the time they were acclaimed as one of the best. Yesterday I did a little research to see if they were worth anything and most of the comments affirmed the original acclamations but there were a few that dissed them So, to each his own.

When I was in college one of my roommates had a pair of Rectilinear IIIs. I had a pair of Klipsch La Scalas and a pair of Bose 601s. Needless to say, there was enough room in the apartment for the stereo equipment, a TV, a phone, a couple of couches, and a place for pizza deliveries.

The speakers were all on dollys so they could be dragged outside on demand.
