We are migrating from a Samba domain to Windows 2012 Domain. Rather than lose all user profiles we'd like to find a way to migrate at least some of them. They are local profiles. We are trying to use USMT to move the locally stored profiles from the w7 workstation on the Samba Domain to a roaming profile on a W7 test computer that has been joined to the new W2012 domain where we intend to use roaming profiles. Scanstate and loadstate appear to be moving data correctly.

Here is the syntax I used for the loadstate command:
loadstate \\fileserver\migration\mystore /mu:fareast\user1:farwest\user2 /i:miguser.xml /i:migapp.xml
When I try to login as the newly migrated user, on the new domain, using the test w7 computer, it pulls profile data from the server, but ignores the profile i just migrated.
Tried removing the user's profile folders (from server and local machine) and running loadstate again. Then moved the user profile folder it creates to the server. Now, when I try to login as the user, it starts to login and immediately logs back off.
Anybody tell me what I am missing?
