http://www.microsoft.com/click/services/Redirect2.ashx?CR_CC=200234015I just hope this version finally gives us the touch-screen interface we've all been clamoring for, with big blocky tiles that have movies and stuff and high all that confusing menu-y stuff and we'll finally be able to develop on our phones instead of these grandpa boxes (that always sounds like coffins to me). I really would like to write code with gestures instead of all this typing ... I've been practicing a one-finger gesture for the MS folks that designed Windows 8
Seriously thanks for the heads up on the VS 2013. VS is one MS offering that just keeps getting better and is obviously driven by a team that actually uses it. Brilliant IDE and a sign there really is hope at MS, at least in terms of developer tools.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin
