The file based table sucked into memory in mobiles as well or just the same interface via Cordoba javascript-cursors ?
Just because it is called a cursor in JS or Python does not make it certain to share that vfp characteristic - different things called the same name as vfp cursor, although I guess at least SQL is working in Win/Webdev cursors - not guaranteed in Python without writing back into SQLite...
