So you're saying that during the early days of the United States that christians considered a black person a whole person? I believe I can find you plenty of examples where that is untrue. Furthermore the belief that a female is a female is ok unless a female loves a female then they are worthless weaklings that should rot in hell with no civil rights is ..ummm a "barrier" dude. You practice a faith that supports bigotry. It's the same thing over and over - and as I recall this thread was started by pointing out such "barriers" and hypocrisy. The fact you're unwilling to see the obvious only proves the point further. Hey look when you're wrong, you're wrong. If you owned a house and wanted to rent it - would you want to rent to a lesbian couple? If so are you doing it because man-made law made you do it, because you think you can convert them? Or because all people are equal? Or would you just run like hell from the evil perverted sinners and tell them to find another place to live? Or are you in year 2013 and just rent them the place and not give a crap about their sexual orientation? For the most part, no matter how you answer the question you have a problem because your bigot attitude conflicts with simple standards of human decency.

At the end of the day, no matter how you try to spin it - fact is you are in a corner because you can't honestly believe all people are created equal when you have a problem with two grown adults being together because they are of the same sex. If you really believed all people are created equal then you would not have issue with two lesbians getting married - but you do not -you apparently don't think they deserve the same rights as you. Thus you more like hate filled bigot than and an all caring loving person. The fact that you attempt to hide your hatred and bigotry behind a veil of the loving christian is quite disturbing.

Again - not getting into the religious aspect of this - just the basic philosophical moral side. I realize this IS the religion forum so I won't harp on that point other than saying I've already expressed this.
