>>It's because I believe and trust in God. Jesus said (John 14:6), "I am the way, the truth,

I have affirmation of the Holy Spirit. When I read the scripture I feel the life in the words. When I pray I feel the life in prayer. And I have seen the changes exhibited outwardly in my life, in my heart's attitude, in the love I exhibit and feel toward people in new ways. And even in other things that totally took me by surprise, like driving down the road and seeing the flowers in bloom and even noticing them in the first place, let alone also thinking to myself, "My goodness, those are really, really, really beautiful." The first time that happened I was absolutely floored. My whole life I'd never given them a second thought, and now as I drive by and see trees in bloom, or the beauty of a flower garden, even the beauty of plowed and planted fields ... it just floors me.

These changes were internal. Not external. I was along for the ride. And I have never been the same since.

God provides affirmation through His Holy Spirit so that the believer is not relying upon things of himself to believe, but rather God affirms and confirms within. And the beliefs that believer has will align with his Holy written word, the Bible, because God did not leave man abandoned, and there is confirmation for all those who are born again, able to hear and see it in everything around us.
