I am pleased to see this seems to be ending amicably.

Good luck with the new business and the family sickness. My dad died just over a year ago and I have missed him more than I expected to. At the time I was sad but thought, OK, he was almost 80, lived a full life, and suffered only briefly at the end. There was some medical misdiagnosis but statistically he probably would not have been around that much longer anyway. We talked on the phone a lot and more than once I have literally picked up the phone to call him before realizing he isn't there any more.

>Thanks Rick - I didn't realize that. It's no particular section that was the issue (I actually enjoyed the Religion section as an example) It was just that I have so much on my plate (dealing with a family sickness, several work projects, new business startup, etc., etc., that I really need to stay focused on my work and other projects that I am involved in.

>>>Mike, it's really not about people bothering me as much as it is about just eating my time up.
>>>I have a tendancy to read every thread that I see here at the UT, as it helps me learn stuff about programming, perhaps helping someone who needs help, etc. So, since I activated the chatter a few days ago, I noticed I had the same habit with that and that was really taking up time.
>>>So, back to the way I was a few days ago - reading all the other stuff at UT that I have done for the last 10 or so years but not the general chatter.

>>You can filter out certain areas, such as the Religion section, and keep the rest of chatter.
