Best reason I've come up with so far to switch is simply money. Get yourself a free OS and use open office. That saves you buying windows and office. Consider if your in a situation where you have a bunch of machines hey you can suddenly be talking about some serious bucks. Ditch SQL server and use MySQL that can be a a lot dollars too.
