>>i am trying to convert everyone to this logical approach. together, we can make a difference. hey, maybe the internet (with the help of computer nerds) can bring a change to the written language. why not?

>Because if I get into the habit of typing incorrectly, then I will get halfway into wrinting a formal letter before I realize I am not on a newsgroup. Since we sometimes are forced to capitalize properly, why mix styles? I don't find that capitalizing properly takes me any longer to do, because I am already conditioned to doing it.
Word always capitolizes the first letter of a sentence and most proper names for me. Word also gives me those nice green and red squigglies to signify something may be amiss. Love those squigglies (of course Word would now have a red squiggly under squigglies.) Computers are suppose to perform some of our more mundane tasks, and I think that capitolizing is one of them. Internet listboxes will surely one day have word processing capabilities.
Anyway, I can see that the tide is turning against me. Nobody but myself wants to not use capitols. OK, let the truth be known. I am LAZY. Talk to my boss, he will tell you the same thing. "Brenda is LAZY". There, I have taken the first step and recognized that I have a problem. I was only using that "logical approach" crap because I did not want to take the time to press the Shift button.
Brenda
