>Newton Falls is not exactly in my neck of the woods even though Akron is a lot closer to Newton Falls than Georgia is :)

>>thanks Marcia. I found some useful stuff in that book. On another note... I was just in your neck of the woods on biz for a couple of day. Newtown Falls to be exact..seems to be a quiet place...typical Midwest vibe...lol...

Newton Falls is one of my favorite towns. A few years ago we were returning from a week long conference in Kankakee, IL with a van full of teenagers. The van conked at the rest area on I-80 just west of Newton Falls. We limped into a State Police station and were assisted by Trooper Sprocket (his real name). We called a church in Newton Falls for help and soon thereafter, the female pastor showed up with a tow truck.. So we caravanned down the highway with the kids spread out between the patrol car and the pastors little car and a couple of us in the tow truck which was towing our van which in turn was towing our trailer. It turned out that the church was a small congregation and they put us all up in a motel, bought medicine for one of the kids, fed us and entertained us until our van was fixed. When we offered to pay, they refused. Since Newton Falls straddles I-80, they have a ministry that helps stranded travelers.

So I like Newton Falls!!
