I'm really not sure if I am finding something new. Basically what I'm doing is monitoring keystrokes in the form keypress event something like this:
do case
case nkeycode=x
do form closeit to tresult
do case
case tresult=1
saveall and close this screen
case tresult=2
dont save anyting and close this screen
endcase
case nkeycode=y
do anothermodalform
endcase

My problem is that if I am tracing in the anothermodalform the debugger keeps coming back to the keypress event above and then not giving me the ability to continue tracing.

I understand about not wanting to use all modal forms but this app is used by several hundred people who can't use a mouse so we are trying to keep it as simple and DOS like as possible. Bummer huh!
