I personally have not been hit with the drastic rearrangements in first half of last century here, had no funds in situations like Argentina but was able to follow the different exchange relations of US$, DM, Swiss Franc, English Pound and €. I personally took the time to read up on US and German situations as well accompanying happenings like making gold illegal to own privately and forcing sale at price points favourable to gov as well as forced mortages or forced payment of any windfall profits incrued by exchange to existing mortages - some people now following the mass movement into matter by racking up substantial new debt have not done so ;-)

And OTOH - as long as it is about the only overall accepted game (favors and tasks done as counter-examples) you have to play to some extent. And you cannot win as even the funds you hope to take out of that game will be confiscated/taxed to pay for debt incurred to pay off the crooked games called banking AND government debt.
