Book recommendation: Foxtales
Recently I became aware of a new 10th anniversary edition of "Foxtales: Behind the Scenes at Fox Software" by Kerry Neitz. Kerry was part of the FoxBase and FoxPro development teams. I sent him an email recongratulating him for the book and we chatted back and forth. He wound up sending me a copy, gratis. There was no quid pro quo that I would tout the book in return. Unless he visits this site surreptitiously he is not even aware of this post. I am only recommending the book because I admire it and think other FoxPro developers will enjoy the fly on the wall account. The writing is very good. Not every software developer is a good writer. Kerry is.
PS -- Michel, is it really impossible to allow quotation marks in message titles? When you are referring to the title of a book or other published work that is proper grammar.
