I use SlickRun (http://www.bayden.com/slickrun) plus Win+1 to Win+9 to start my most used applications. Net result: Zero icons on my screen.

>I have many duplicate icons on the desktop and would like to clean up. It would be helpful if similar names icons would be next to each other; this way I could see which ones are duplicate. But when I right-mouse click on the desktop and select Sort by Name they are not really sorted by name. What am I missing? TIA
