Yes really free but with some limitations. Gregory pointed out that it's free for up to 10 computers. No problem here you just have to have it installed by your customers. Then it's their account and the problem is solved. Unless there is something that I don't understand by the 10 computers limitation.

Did you look at the Mac Mini. Could be an interesting alternative to a MacBook.
