Well considering you been whimpering about the evil MS for months and months it sounds like an obvious question to ask you Rick...especially considering you've determined that all business models like their's is sinfully evil and you think they should fold up shop and just start giving away all their source code.

I suggest you consult an attorney because the legality of this is a lot more complicated than you think. I'd say it's safe to say that most licence agreements have wording then them specifically prohibiting decompiling and reverse engineering.
