I have an application which I run from a VFP 3.0 compiled exe file.

The data files are resident on my network, and I placed the exe file, along with the resource, esl, dbc, dct, and dcx files on the local hard drive. The config.fpw file defines the path which includes the local hard drive/directory and the network drive/directory.

The problem occurs when loading the first form - I receive an error message that "error when loading a form or the data environment - syslog.dbf has been moved, validate the database and try again." The file is resident on the network drive, and it appears in the data environment. The database is validated.

When I test the application by running the first form, called login.scx, I have no problem.

I sure would appreciate any help.
