John, I've been a user for only a couple of months so I am far from an expert on the system. Its network scanning for multiple locations is best utilized by having separate remote installations at each location, they report to the central server. These remote nodes just act as data gathers with minimal impact on the host device and very little configuration.

You can configure any number of users, admin or otherwise, and provide Help Desk portals to trouble tickets, documents, FAQs, etc. It also provides Active Directory integration for ease in grouping users and content.

My best advise is to install a copy (free!) in the main office and give it a try. There is a very active community and a tremendous amount of help available.
